Terms for UK contractors using Quofix accounts, Stripe billing, workspace data and estimating output.
Last updated: June 2026
These terms are between you and Quofix (United Kingdom) for use of Quofix at support@quofix.app and the Quofix website/application.
By creating an account, signing in, or using the service you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service is intended for business and trade use. You confirm you have authority to bind your business where you register on behalf of a company.
Quofix provides site-side estimating tools for UK drylining, ceiling fixing and related trades: calculator takeoffs, quotation output, optional saved jobs and variation workflow on eligible plans.
You must use the service lawfully, keep your sign-in details confidential, and not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or access another user's account.
We may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe the service is being abused, used unlawfully, or in breach of these terms.
You retain responsibility for job names, client names, site details and commercial figures you enter. Only add personal data about clients or site contacts where you have a lawful business reason to do so.
You grant us a limited licence to host and process your workspace content solely to operate the service (save jobs, generate quotations, sync across devices on eligible plans).
Takeoffs and quotations are produced from the measurements and rates you enter. Outputs are allowances and guidance — not a substitute for your own review of specification, access, waste, programme and contract terms.
Benchmark material rates are indicative UK regional guidance, not live merchant till pricing. You are responsible for figures you issue to clients, main contractors and QS teams.
Free takeoffs are available on the calculator. Professional quotation output may require pay-per-quote payment or an active subscription as shown on the Plans page.
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (or its affiliates). Card details are collected on Stripe-hosted pages. Your use of Stripe checkout is also subject to Stripe's terms and privacy notice.
Fees are shown before you pay. Subscription renewals and cancellations follow the options presented in your account workspace and Stripe customer flows where enabled.
If you are a consumer, statutory rights under UK law may apply in addition to these terms. If you use Quofix wholly for trade or business, those consumer rights may not apply to the same extent.
We aim to keep Quofix available for site and office use, but maintenance, third-party outages (including Supabase or Stripe), or force majeure may interrupt access.
Features and pricing may change. Plan limits and prices in force at checkout or renewal apply to that purchase.
Quofix software, branding and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or resell the service except as allowed by normal use through your account.
You own the commercial content you create (your quotations and job records). We do not claim ownership of your issued paperwork.
The service and all output are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, wasted expenditure, incorrect orders, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output.
If we are found liable for direct loss arising from our breach of these terms, our total aggregate liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Quofix in that period and (b) one hundred pounds sterling (£100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory protections if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK.
